About The Maida Kitchen Project
Cramer Contracting recently completed a stunning kitchen remodel that transformed a dated and cramped space into a modern and functional cooking and dining area. The first step in the renovation was to demolish two walls, which opened up the kitchen to the adjacent living room and dining area. To ensure the structural integrity of the space, Cramer Contracting installed a new load-bearing header.
As part of the demolition, Cramer Contracting also eliminated a window to make room for new cabinetry and appliances. With the walls removed, the team was able to install new LED puck lights and electrical wiring, which illuminated the kitchen and made it more energy-efficient.
To improve the HVAC system’s performance, Cramer Contracting moved the cold air returns and heat runs to more strategic locations in the space. With the mechanical systems in place, the team focused on installing new custom two-tone cabinets and a central island. The cabinets featured a sleek design that maximized storage space and complemented the new luxury vinyl plank flooring.
One of the highlights of the remodel was the installation of a beautiful herringbone backsplash that added a touch of elegance to the space. The team also installed a spacious farmhouse sink and disposal that made clean-up a breeze. To top it off, Cramer Contracting installed stunning Quarts countertops that were both durable and stylish.
In summary, the kitchen remodel completed by Cramer Contracting transformed a cramped and outdated space into a modern and functional cooking and dining area. With the new walls, lighting, HVAC systems, cabinetry, flooring, backsplash, sink, and countertops, the kitchen was an absolute showstopper.
