This customer came to me with a problem; A small mud room/entry area. They proposed knocking out some walls, moving the washer and dryer downstairs and making the mud room much larger with lots of storage. The customer needed a space for her 4 children, their school supplies and sports equipment. This was a custom made mudroom project complete with cubbies, benches, hooks and a hinged chest. I really enjoyed this project and the customer and her kids loved it too. What excites me is taking unique spaces within homes and creating unique and functional built-ins and custom carpentry to solve problems and make life a bit easier.
